Check out our wonderful staff that cares for our amazing clients
The man who started it all! Although his hands are full with the business side of Ma & Paws, he still gets out to enjoy visits with our furry friends. John has an unbelievable love of animals and treats each of them as if they were his own.
Bonnie is John's wife of 50 years and has been with him since day one of Ma & Paws. She helps create the warm and loving environment for our family business. Bonnie spends most of her time handling our office responsibilities and she keeps us organized and on top of things. She occasionally go out on pet visits and loves visiting with the animals that come to board with us.
Kristi is John and Bonnie's daughter and is our behind-the-scenes coordinator. Even Kristi's children help out when the opportunity exists - her oldest is 6'4" and 20 years old. Kristi's only problem is falling in love with all the animals.
Linda is John's sister, and she has also been involved in Ma & Paws from the beginning. Linda loves helping wherever she can. She especially enjoys representing us at various shows, and meeting new people and their family pets.
It didn't take long for Kim to jump from part-time to full-time with Ma & Paws. She has a passion for all animals, no matter what the breed or challenge. As a "foster mom" working with a few of our local pet rescues, Kim will do almost anything to help a lost dog find a new, forever home. As our Senior Field Rep, she lends a helping hand to the rest of our staff whenever backup is needed.
Jean has been a pet lover forever. At one time she had 7 furry friends under her roof. Currently she is mom to an 8-year-old lab/golden mix with a heart of gold. She worked at Hartman Veterinary Hospital for 12 years, assisting in many aspects within the practice. Jean is also a licensed social worker with a strong background in psychology. She is very loving and caring to all pets.
Lisa has four dog fur babies and a cat of her own, and here she is posing with her best friend, Miss Bella. Lisa's love for animals started at a young age when her mom taught her to be an animal lover and care for their family pets. Lisa would love to take care of your furry family members when you are away.
Lynn has been around animals her whole life. Her animal family includes a horse, 2 cats, a Jack Russel terrier mix, a Beagle mix and an AKC purebred German Shepherd. Lynn and her dog Faith completed the Toledo K-9 Performance Academy's Obedience Training program. "The fact that our clients care enough about their pets to have us take care of them demonstrates how much they love them, and we do too."
Liz covers our Bowling Green territory and is actively involved in Wood County animal organizations. She has more than 30 years of volunteer experience with Dog Rescue and the Humane Society. Once Liz meets your favorite pet, they will be friends forever.
Suzy is our small dog specialist. She primarily welcomes pets into her home, and cares for them as if they're her own while their owners are away.
Johnny is Bonnie's brother and is known for his love of walking dogs. If your dogs need to be walked, Johnny is your man. Johnny covers the North Toledo area.
You can describe Deb in two words. Cat lover! She loves loves loves cats. She is very reliable and she would do anything for her pet families. We are so glad she is with Ma & Paws Pet Family.
Ron is retired and had a lot of free time. Ron is our daughter's father-in-law and she suggested to Ron about helping us out and become a pet sitter. Without any hesitation he became a pet sitter. It is a pleasure having him working for Ma & Paws Pet Family.
